Abstract

ABSTRAK Pada kawasan perdagangan permasalahan yang muncul adalah kendaraan yang tidak mungkin bergerak terus menerus. Kendaraan memerlukan waktu untuk berhenti untuk sementara atau berehenti cukup lama, sehingga keberadaan tempat parkir pada kawasan perdagangan sangatlah penting dan harus ada. Keberadaan pusat perbelanjaan (Pasar Baru) merupakan primadona wisata belanja orang dari dalam atau luar Bandung. serta Letaknya yang strategis yang ada di pusat kota menjadi incaran para pelancong. Bahkan wisatawan dari Malaysia dan Singapura sering kali mengunjungi kawasan perdagangan tersebut. Sehingga kawasan sekitar Pasar Baru banyak menarik pengunjung untuk datang ke kawasan tersebut. Dengan adanya tarikan pengunjung, maka diperlukan suatu lokasi parkir bagi para pengunjung di sekitar kawasan tersebut untuk memarkirkan atau memberhentikan kendaraannya di tempat parkir. Lokasi yang menjadi wilayah studi yaitu ruas-ruas jalan yang ada di sekitar Kawasan Pasar Baru yang dijadikan sebagai tempat parkir baik oleh pengunjung dan oleh pegawai. Ruas Jalan tersebut diantaranya yaitu ruas Jalan Pecinana Lama, ruas Jalan Pasar Utara, ruas Jalan Pasar Selatan, dan ruas Jalan ABC. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebagai upaya untuk mengetahui kondisi perparkiran ditinjau dari karakteristik dan kebutuhan ruang parkir serta memberikan rekomendasi terhadap perparkiran wilayah studi yaitu Jalan Pecinan Lama, Pasar Utara, Pasar Selatan, ABC dan Pasar Baru. Metode yang digunakan meliputi analisis karakteristik parkir, analisis kebutuhan ruang dan lahan parkir serta aspirasi pemakaian fasilitas parkir. Hasil analisis membuktikan bahwa ada beberapa lokasi parkir yaitu ruas jalan Pecinan Lama, Ruas Jalan Abc dan Gedung Parkir Pasar Baru yang memiliki permasalahan terhadap ruang parkir. dimana permintaan ruang parkir lebih besar atau melebihi kapasitas yang ada, selain itu kebutuhan lahan parkir yang lebih besar di bandingkan dengan lahan parkir eksisiting. maka dari hasil kesimpulan analisis, perlu adanya pemecahan masalah dalam sedian ruang dan lahan parkir di ruas jalan sekitar kawasan pasar baru diantaranya dengan penataan lokasi parkir yang ada atau menyiapkan lahan parkir baru, memberlakukan tariff progresif atau dengan cara penggunaan tempat parkir bersama. Abstract In the area of trade problems that arise is a vehicle that is not possible to move continuously. Vehicle takes to stop for a while or berehenti long enough, so that the existence of a parking lot in the area of trade is very important and should be there. The existence of a shopping center (Pasar Baru) is a prime tourist spot of shopping people from inside or outside Bandung. and strategic location in the center of the city became the target of the traveler. Even tourists from Malaysia and Singapore often visit the trade area. Thus, the area around the New Market attract many visitors to come to the region. With the pull of a visitor, we need a parking area for visitors around the area to park or dismiss his vehicle in the parking lot. Location into the study area are sections of existing roads around the Pasar Baru area which is used as a parking lot both by visitors and by employees. Roads are among others that Pecinan Lama, Pasar Utara, Pasar Selatan, and ABC. This research was done in an effort to determine the condition of parking in terms of the characteristics and needs of the parking space as well as provide recommendations on the parking area of study pecinan lama street, pasar utara street, pasar selatan street, Abc and pasar baru. Methods used include analysis parking characteristics, analyzes the need for space and parking lots as well as the aspirations of the use of parking facilities. The results of the analysis proves that there are several parking locations namely pecinan lama roads, Abc roads and parking building pasar baru who have problems to parking space. where demand for parking space is greater than or exceeds capacity, besides it needs a bigger parking lot in comparison with existing parking lot. then the conclusion of the results of the analysis, the need for solving problems in perfomed space and parking on roads around the area of new markets such as by structuring existing parking location or setting up a new parking lot, enacting progressive tariff or by the use of a parking lot together.
