Abstract
This research is motivated by the low writing abilities of students in negotiation text learning. One of the factors contributing to this is the use of conventional instructional models and media, which can appear boring and monotonous. The aim of this study is to test the effectiveness of the Treffinger model supported by Wordwall media in teaching negotiation text writing, and to assess the difference in students' abilities in writing negotiation texts between the experimental and control classes using Discussion method. The method used in this research is quantitative experimental with a Quasi Experimental design. Based on the research results, the Treffinger model supported by Wordwall media is effective in teaching negotiation text writing. This can be seen from the average pre-test score in the experimental class being 50.5 and the average post-test score being 88.5. The average pre-test score in the control class is 50.8 and the average post-test score is 74.4. There is an average score increase of 38 in the experimental class and 23.6 in the control class. Furthermore, there is a difference in students' learning outcomes in negotiation text writing between the experimental and control classes. This is supported by a significant Independent Sample Test result with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, the conducted learning was successful.
