Abstract
The research entitled An Analysis of English Lesson Planning and Its Equipment Relevant to the Indonesia’s Curriculum 2013 Revised (A Study Towards English Lesson Planning of Istiqamah Senior High School Bandung Academic Year 2021-2022) is aimed to describe analysis of the English lesson planning and its equipment made by English teacher in Istiqamah Senior High School Bandung, also the obstacles faced by the English teacher in arranging the lesson planning. This research covers on how is the relevance of the component and structure of the lesson planning and its equipment to Curriculum 2013 Revised. This research also discusses the obstacles faced by English teacher in arranging the lesson planning and its equipment. The object of this research is lesson planning of Application Letter theme that was used for 12th grade in academic year 2021- 2022 at Istiqamah Senior High School Bandung, also the teaching equipment including learning material, learning media, student’s worksheet, and learning evaluation that made by the English teacher. The researcher uses qualitative method with content analysis as the technique of analyzing the data. To collect the data, the researcher interviewed the English teacher used semi-structured format and documentation study. The result of this analysis shows that the lesson planning and its equipment made by the English teacher is relevant to Curriculum 2013 Revised. The points of Curriculum 2013 Revised is integrated in the lesson planning. Even though the components of the lesson planning and its equipment are not fully approppriate, the lesson planning and its equipment are quite good. In arranging the lesson planning, the teachers find difficulty in adjusting the lesson planning with the implementation in the class.
