Abstract
vi ABSTRAK Mengidentifikasi adalah suatu proses mengurutkan atau menjabarkan informasi dalam paragraf maupun bentuk tulisan lain. Metode directed reading thinking activity (DRTA) adalah suatu strategi yang mem - fokuskan keterlibatan siswa dalam memprediksi dan membuktikan prediksinya ketika mereka membaca teks. Berdasarkan penjelasan tersebut, penulis tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian dengan judul “Pembelajaran Mengidentifikasi Unsur Struktur Teks Eksposisi Berfokus pada Pernyataan Pendapat (Tesis) dengan Menggunakan Metode Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) p ada Siswa Kelas X SMK Negeri 4 Bandung Tahun Pelajaran 2015/216”. Rumusan masalah yang penulis ajukan adalah: (1) Apakah penulis mampu melak - sanakan pembalajaran mengidentifikasi teks eksposisi yang berfokus pada pernyataan pendapat (tesis) melalui metode Directed Reading - Thinking Activity pada siswa kelas X SMKN 4 Bandung? (2) Apakah siswa kelas X SMKN 4 Bandung mampu mengidentifikasi pernyataan pendapat dalam teks eksposisi melalui metode Direc ted Reading - Thinking Activity ? (3) Efektifkah metode Directed Reading - Thinking Activity digunakan dalam pem - belajaran mengidentifikasi teks eksposisi yang berfokus pasa pernyataan pendapat (tesis) pada siswa kelas X SMKN 4 Bandung? Hipotesis yang penulis r umuskan adalah sebagai berikut. (1) Penulis mampu melaksanakan pembelajaran mengidentifikasi unsur struktur teks eksposisi yang berfokus pada pernyataan pendapat (tesis) dengan menggunakan metode Directed Reading - Thinking Activity pada siswa kelas X SMKN 4 Bandung tahun pelajaran 2014 - 2015. (2) Siswa kelas X SMKN 4 Bandung tahun pelajaran 2014 - 2015 mampu mengidentifikasi unsur struktur teks eksposisi yang berfokus pada pernyataan pendapat (tesis) dengan menggunakan metode Directed Reading - Thinking Activity . (3) Metode Directed Reading - Thinking Activity efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran mengidentifikasi unsur struktur teks eksposisi yang berfokus pada pernyataan pendapat pada siswa kelas X SMKN 4 Bandung. Berdasarkan pengolahan data penelitian yang telah dilakukan, penulis menyim - pulkan hal - hal sebagai berikut. 1. Penulis mampu melaksanakan pembelajaran mengidentifikasi unsur struktur teks eksposisi berfokus pada pernyataan pendapat (tesis) dengan menggunakan metode directed reading thinking activity (drta) . Hal in i dibuktikan dengan hasil yang diperoleh penulis dalam persiapan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran yaitu dengan nilai 3,52 dan termasuk pada kategori baik sekali. 2. Siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 4 Bandung mampu mengidentifikasi unsur struktur teks eksposisi berf okus pada pernyataan pendapat (tesis) dengan menggunakan metode directed reading thinking activity (drta). Hal ini terbukti dari nilai pretest 0,9 dan nilai rata - rata posttest 3,2 . Sehingga selisih nilai rata - rata pretest dan posttest yaitu sebesar 2,3 . 3. Metode dir ected reading thinking activity efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran mengidentifikasi unsur struktur teks eksposisi pada siswa kelas X. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil perhitungan statistik manual dengan diperoleh t hitung > t tabel yaitu 4,46 > 2,0 6. Dalam tingkat kepercayaan 95% taraf signifikan 5% dan derajat kebebasan 23. Dengan demikian, penulis menyimpulkan pembelajaran mengidentifikasi unsur struktur teks eksposisi yang berfokus pada pernyataan pendapat (tesis) dengan menggunakan metode directed reading thinking activity (DRTA) berhasil dengan baik. vi Kata kunci: Pembelajaran, Mengidentifikasi, Teks Eksposisi, Metode Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA). Methods directed reading thinking activity (DRTA) is a strategy - focused mem student involvement in predicting and proving predictions as they read the text. Based on the explanation, the authors are interested in doing research with the title "Learning Identify Text Elements Structural Exposition Focusing on Expressions of Opinio n (thesis) with Method Using Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) in Class X SMK Negeri 4 Bandung in the school year 2015/216". The problems that the authors ask is: (1) Does the author is able to Melak - ment pembalajaran identify text exposition focu sing on the statement of opinion (thesis) through methods Directed Reading - Thinking Activity in class X SMKN 4 Bandung? (2) Whether a student of class X SMK 4 Bandung able to identify in the text of a statement of opinion exposition through methods Directe d Reading - Thinking Activity? (3) Effective methods Directed Reading - Thinking Activity - learning is used in the creation of text identifying the exposition which focuses pasa statement of opinion (thesis) in class X SMKN 4 Bandung? The hypothesis that the w riter formulated as follows. (1) The authors were able to carry out learning to identify elements of the text structure exposition focusing on the statement of opinion (thesis) using the Directed Reading - Thinking Activity in class X SMKN 4 Bandung in the a cademic year 2014 - 2015. (2) Grade X SMKN 4 Bandung 2014 - 2015 school year are able to identify elements of the text structure exposition focusing on the statement of opinion (thesis) using the Directed Reading - Thinking Activity. (3) Method of Directed Readi ng - Thinking Activity effectively used in learning to identify elements of the text structure exposition focused to express an opinion in class X SMKN 4 Bandung . Based on the data processing of research that has been done, the author conclude following matt ers. 1. The author is able to carry out learning to identify elements of the text structure exposition focusing on the statement of opinion (thesis) using the method of directed reading thinking activity (drta). This is evidenced by the results obtained by th e author in the preparation and implementation of learning with a value of 3.52 and included in either category yet. 2. Students of class X SMK Negeri 4 Bandung able to identify elements of the text structure exposition focusing on the statement of opinion (t hesis) using the method of directed reading thinking activity (drta). It is proved from 0.9 pretest and posttest average value of 3.2. So the difference in value of the average pretest and posttest that is equal to 2.3. 3. The method is directed reading think ing activity effectively used in learning to identify elements of the text structure exposition in class X. This is evident from the results of statistical calculations manually obtained t> t table ie 4.46> 2.06. In a confidence level of 95% significance l evel of 5% and a degree of freedom 23. Thus, the authors concluded study identifies elements of text structure exposition focusing on the statement of opinion (thesis) using the method of directed reading thinking activity (DRTA) work well.
