Abstract

Crime that occurs in the environment of office buildings even in neighborhoods lately more frequent, crime rates are increasing. Based on data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) In 2010 there were 332 490 cases and an increase in 2015 reached 352 936 cases, Theft crime is one that often occurs in housing, institutional or office buildings to be noticed. Pasundan University is one of the educational institutions that have several campus scattered in the city of bandung, one of which is the campus IV (Faculty of Engineering) yang terlakak in setiabudhi bandung. As an educational institution of course many important objects are scattered in some rooms. Semangkin many important things then semangkin high needs of the institution's security system. The concept of Smart Building is the application of the technology of the Internet of Things (IoT) which is currently as fast as possible and trying to answer all human needs. This concept is divided into beberpa part one of them is Security and Access Control. Developing technology leads to selfsustaining systems, making it easier to perform security controls by building control systems that can provide alarm information, e-mail notifications. To realize Security and Access Control requires Raspberry Pi and Arduino Microcontroller connected with Passive Infrared Sensor (PIR), Light Dependent Resistor (LDR), Laser sensor, Relay and OpenHAB (Open Home Automation BUS) as framework. The result of Smart Building development research, namely the security of information can be obtained directly through the local network and internet email notification when there is movement or someone passing the room or area that has been installed device. The OpenHAB framework works well on a semart building system. Keywords: Smart Building, Internet of Things (IoT), Security and Access Control, Passive Infrared Sensor (PIR), Light Dependent Resistor (LDR), Laser sensor, Relay and OpenHAB.
