Abstract
ABSTRACT This research is entitled to find out empirically about the effect of profitability and company size on tax exvasion in food and beverage comapniez listed on the Indonesian stock exchange in 2017-2021.in this case profitability and firm size as independent variables and tax avoidance as the dependent variable. The Method used is desciptive and associative method. This study uses secondary data obtained from the website www.idx.co.id. The sampling technique used this research is a purposive sampling technique which produces 7 sample companies.The analytchical techniques used in this research are descriptive analysis and associative analysis consisting of hipotesis t test,simple linar regression analysis,corelation analysis and coefficient of determintatiin. The result of this study indicate that protfitability has a positive effect on tax avoidcance by 11%. Keywords:Profitability,company size and tax avoidance
