Abstract

This research took the title "EFFECTIVENESS OF EMPLOYEE WORK AT THE SECRETARIAT OF THE BEKASI CITY TRANSPORTATION OFFICE". The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the picture of employee work effectiveness at the secretariat within the Transportation Office in Bekasi City and to find out the organizational elements that are closely related to the effectiveness of employee work at the Secretariat of the Transportation Office in Bekasi city and To find out what efforts can be made in order to improve the effectiveness of employee work at the Secretariat of the Transportation Office in Bekasi City. Research Method: Qualitative, The research design used in this study is a qualitative research method that uses a case study strategy. The research uses case studies to see real events that occur in the Bekasi City Regional Government, especially in the current Bekasi City Transportation Office Secretariat. Data collection techniques: participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is the process of systematically finding and collecting transcripts of interviews and observations, as well as pictures, photographs, subject diaries, etc., which are considered complete and complete. Researchers conducted data analysis. This is done by organizing data, describing it in units, synthesizing it, compiling it into patterns, selecting it, and drawing conclusions. From here important information is obtained in the form of research results. The results showed that the Element of Coordination and the Element of Flexibility or Innovation are supporting factors for the Effectiveness of Employee Work at the Secretariat of the Bekasi City Transportation Office. Control Elements, Environmental Suitability Elements, and Motivation Elements are factors inhibiting the effectiveness of employee work at the Bekasi City Transportation Office Secretariat.
