Abstract
This research examines the analysis of English lesson planning and focused on the components of the lesson planning and its teaching equipment for Descriptive text material, 10th grade SMAN 1 Majalengka. The problem behind this research is having some difficulties for teachers in designing lesson planning in accordance to the 2013 curriculum referring to the Ministry of Education and Culture Regulation Number 22 Year 2016 because the curriculum is dynamic or changing, therefore, it automatically affects its components especially lesson planning. The purpose in this research is to determine the compatibility between lesson planning and its teaching equipment complementing the lesson planning and the revised Indonesia’s 2013 curriculum referring to the Ministry of Education and Culture Regulation Number 22 Year 2016. The researcher uses descriptive qualitative method to answer the research questions. Furthermore, the researcher uses documentation technique to collect and analyze the data.From the result of this research, the researcher can conclude that English Teacher SMAN 1 Majalengka has tried his best to arrange the lesson planning. But the researcher still finds some discrepancies related to the components of the lesson planning and its teaching equipment. Keywords: Lesson Planning, Teaching Equipment, 2013 curriculum
