Abstract

The background of this research is to find the differences and similarities between Asian mythology characters and heroes in Mobile Legends Bang Bang.. The focus of the research is to classify the similarities Asian mythology that used in MLBB game as heroes. The application of an appropriate technique is required to undertake comparative literature. After conducting pre-observations, the writer chooses the comparative approach which is most suitable for this research. With a comparative approach , the writer will make a comparison between the heroes that are applied in the game and heroes of folklore. there are six heroes from MLBB which has similarities to Asian mythology. Some similarities of the heroes there are very significant, such as the ability and illustrations .The abilities of heroes in MLBB are mostly similar as being told in Asian mythology. There is feedback between games and literature. For games, as media to submit the myth and for literature, that can promote literary works to people indirectly. Myth can be promoted by the game, and the game can be easily created by the maker. Keywords: Mythology, Comparative Literature, Mobile Legends, Game
