Abstract

This Research is entitled “Analysis of Slang Word Used by K-pop Fans Community on Twitter”. It attempts to analyze the slang word are used and the types of slang words are used by the k-pop fans community on Twitter. There are purposes to conduct this research; to find what are slang words used and to identify the types of slang words used by the k-pop fans community. The writer limits the research about the slang words are used and the types of slang words are used by the k-pop fans on Twitter 2020-2021 edition and the writer will examine at least three communities. The writer uses a descriptive qualitative method to answer the research problem by doing research and taking a note about the slang word, captured that and began to collect some of the accounts that had been observed. After the data is collected, the writer classifies the data that has certain similarities related to slang words. Keyword: Language, Slang Word, Twitter, K-pop
