Abstract

This research paper is entitled The Inlfuence of Instagram on Citizen Journalism Development. The content in this paper is to know about the people's responses towards the phenomena of citizen journalism on Instagram and how significant Instagram in influencing the development of citizen journalism.In conducting this research, the writer ueses quantitative with survey method because in the process of collecting the data the writer uses number and statistic. This method would be done withquestionnaire as the instrument of data collection.The step that the writer took in this research are collecting, analyzing and interpreting the data. The main data of this study comesfrom questionnaire that is shared through Instagram poll and the responders are the writer's followers on Instagram. The result from this research will be summarized statistically to know the percentage of the people's responses about the activity of citizen journalism on Instagram and the significance of Instagram in influencing the development of citizen journalism.Keywords : Citizen Journalism, Instagram, Quantitative, Survey Method.
