Spelling is one of important langyage parts in writing and it can determine standard of Indonesian language. Scholarly paper is discourse written by showing quality which meets science feature. The feature are objective, systematic, consistent, and stable. The research based on the use of spelling problem, particulary in the scholarly paper FKIP UNPAS student. The research is carried out by using descriptive method with analysis technique. Based on the research result we can conclude that it is still found mistake in the use of spelling, mainly in writing preposition, affixation and capital latter. Thus, the use of spelling needs to be paid attention, prticulary by Indonesian language lecturer of FKIP UNPAS. Key words: Analysis, of mistake, in spelling, scholarly paper.
