Abstract
Indonesian Language learning in school is very important. Modified Method of Free Inquiry is a model that directs students to be active in learning. For that, the authors are interested in doing research with the title: "Learning to Analysis Coherence and Cohesion Paragraph in the NonLiterature Text Using the Method Of Inquiry in Class X SMA PGRI Lembang. The hypothesis is that the writer formulated; (1) The author was able, implement, and assess learning activities Analysis Coherence and Cohesion Paragraph in the NonLiterature Text Using the Method Of Inquiry in Class X SMA PGRI Lembang; (2) The students of class Class X SMA PGRI Lembang able to Analysis Coherence and Cohesion Paragraph in the NonLiterature Text; and (3) Method of Inquiry effectively used in learning Analysis Analysis Coherence and Cohesion Paragraph in the NonLiterature Text in Class X SMA PGRI Lembang. The research method that I use is a quasi-experimental method with a literature review of research techniques, trials, observation, and analysis technical. The re-search results can be described as follows. 1. The author is able to plan, implement, and assess learning activities estab- Analysis Coherence and Cohesion Paragraph in the NonLiterature Text Using the Method Of Inquiry in Class X SMA PGRI Lembang. This is evidenced by the results of plan value of 3,75 and implementation result of 3,7 2. The students of class X SMA PGRI Lembang able to carry out to Analysis the Coherence and Cohesion Paragraph in the NonLiterature Text well. This was evident in the differences in the results of the pretest and posttest. The average value of pretest is 0,58 while the average post-test score is 3,11. Become get increase of 2,53 or be equal 11,01% 3. Inquiry learning method is effectively used in learning to Analysis the Coherence and Cohesion Paragraph in the NonLiterature Text. This can be proved by statistical tests tcount>ttabelie 38,45686 ≥ ttable 2,,07 confidence level with a degree of freedom 95% and d.b is 22. That is, the authors conclude that all hypotheses were formulated in this study successfully. Keywords: Learning, Analysis Coherence and Cohesion, NonLiterature Text, Inquiri Method.
