Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know how big the influence of Transformational Leadership (X1) and Competence (X2) to Work Motivation (Y) and its impact on Employee Performance (Z) in Administration Area of Citarum River Region of Java Barat Province either simutan or partially . The results of the study are expected to contribute in the development of management science, especially human resource management. For similar institutions and practitioners, it is expected that the results of this study can provide useful information about the influence of transformational leadership, competence on employee motivation and its impact on Employee Performance. The research was conducted in the Administration Division of Central Region of Citarum River Region of West Java Province. The research method used survey method with quantitative research approach. The research method used is descriptive verification. To test the research hypothesis used path statistic analysis method (path analysis) using SPSS 20 program. Based on the results of research obtained shows a significant relationship between Transformational leadership, Competence, to the motivation and its impact on employee performance, while testing the hypothesis in patial, Transformational Leadership positively and significantly to Competence, Motivation has a positive and significant impact on Competence, positive and significant to Employee Performance. The results of this study also explains that the variable Transformasional Leadership contributes the greatest influence compared with competence and motivation variables.
