Abstract

ABSTRACT Improving the quality of human resources is a key factor for the Office of Water Resources Management in West Java Province to improve employee performance. Employee performance is not only carried out through education and training, but must be accompanied by sufficient compensation provided and good work discipline which is very important for the achievement of goals. The quality of employee performance in carrying out their duties is greatly influenced by compensation given and good work discipline. The purpose of this study is to determine how much influence compensation and discipline have on employee performance both simultaneously and partially. The research method used is descriptive and verification research method with a total sample of 54 respondents. Data was collected using the questionnaire method and data analysis used was multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that compensation and discipline affect employee performance. The magnitude of the effect of compensation and discipline on employee performance is equal to 50.3%. Partially showing a significant effect on employee performance and compensation has a greater influence on employee performance. Keywords: Compensation, Discipline and Employee Performance
