Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengkaji masalah peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa melalui pembelajaran dengan pendekatan matematika realistik, serta mendapatkan gambaran sikap siswa terhadap pembelajaran dengan pendekatan matematika realistik pada pembelajaran matematika. Metode penelitiannya adalah mix method ragam embedded. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMP Negeri 3 Cisurupan Kabupaten Garut, dan Sampel dipilih dua kelas secara acak, yaitu kelas VIII C sebagai kelas eksperimen, dan kelas VIII A sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini berupa tes dan non tes. 5 soal tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis, dan 5 soal tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis, sedangkan instrumen non tes berupa angket skala sikap, lembar observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran matematika dengan pendekatan matematika realistik lebih baik daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional; 2) peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran matematika dengan pendekatan matematika realistik lebih baik daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional; 3) sikap siswa positif terhadap pembelajaran dengan pendekatan matematika realistik. Kata kunci : Pendidikan matematika realistik; berpikir kreatif matematis; dan pemecahan masalah matematis   Abstract The purpose of this study is to examine the problem of improving the ability of creative thinking and to solve mathematical learning students problem through realistic mathematics approach, and get an illustration of the students' attitudes on learning with a realistic mathematics approach. The research method is embedded diverse mix method. The population in this study are all students of SMP Negeri 3 Cisurupan Garut, and Sample randomly selected two classes, they are class VIII C as the experimental class, and class VIII A as the control class. Instruments in this study are test and non test. There are 5 item mathematical ability creative test, and 5 items about mathematical problem solving ability test, while the non-test is questionnaire instrument attitude scale, observation sheet, and interviews. The results of this research are: 1) increase the ability of creative thinking students acquire mathematical study of mathematics by realistic mathematics approach better than students who received conventional teaching; 2) increase in mathematical problem solving ability of students who received study of mathematics by realistic mathematics approach better than students who received conventional teaching; 3) positive student attitudes towards learning mathematics with a realistic approach.
