Abstract

This study aims to determine the Quality of Public Services in Business Certificates at the Sukamulya Village Office, Bungurasih District, Tasikmalaya City. A Business Certificate is a proof of business legality issued by the authorities such as the local village or district to state that the person concerned has a business with clear business activities. However, the process of making a Business Certificate in Sukamulya Village is not optimal, such as the inaccuracy of service time and there are several obstacles such as limited facilities and infrastructure that support the administrative process so that they need to be addressed to optimize the public service process in Sukamulya Village. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a case study and a descriptive method. In this study, data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, documentation, and literature studies. Informants in this study include: the Secretary of Sukamulya Village, Sukamulya Village Staff, and the Community who access the Business Certificate service. The data analysis used in this study is the Miles & Huberman interactive model data analysis which consists of several components, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions or verification. Data analysis was conducted using the Atlas.ti software tool. Overall, based on the research, the quality of public services in the Business Certificate at the Sukamulya Village Office, Bungurasih District, Tasikmalaya City has been running well, although there are still some things that need to be improved to achieve optimal public service quality.
