Abstract
ABSTRACT This study aimed to find out the level of profitability and feasibility of tobacco cultivation and post-harvest farming in Bantarujeg, Majalengka district. This study used descriptive and verification quantitative approach methods with data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The sample selection used a simple random sampling technique in which 98 respondents were selected as the research sample. R/C analysis is used to measure the feasibility level and B/C is used to analyze the profits of the tobacco farming business. The results of this study showed that the feasibility level of tobacco cultivation and post-harvest farming is more than 1 (R> 1), for cultivation farming 1.7 and post-harvest farming 2.7, it means that tobacco farming is feasible to continue their business. Furthermore, the result of the level of profit of tobacco cultivation farming has a B/C profit of 0.7 and for postharvest 1.7. From these two farms, it can be seen that post-harvest tobacco farming has higher feasibility and profits than cultivation farming. From the data results, the post-harvest business will be far more feasible to continue in the future.
