Abstract

ABSRTACT One of the characteristics of unemployment in Indonesia is the high level of unemployment with a high level of education or educated unemployment. In Indonesia, unemployment is dominated by educated unemployment. This research aims to: (1) determine the development of the educated unemployment rate, number of micro and small industries, number of large and medium industries, provincial minimum wages, economic growth rate, and foreign investment in each province in Indonesia, (2) analyze the influence of the number of industries micro and small, number of large and medium industries, provincial minimum wages, economic growth rate, and foreign investment on educated unemployment in each province in Indonesia. The data used in this research is a combination of time series data, namely 2013-2021 and cross section data, namely 33 provinces in Indonesia. The results of this research show variables that have a positive and significant effect on the level of educated unemployment in each province in Indonesia, namely the number of micro and small industries, the number of large and medium industries. Meanwhile, the variables that have a negative and significant effect on the level of educated unemployment in each province in Indonesia are the rate of economic growth and foreign investment. And the provincial minimum wage has a positive and insignificant effect Keywords: number of IMK, Number of IBS, UMP, Economic Growth, Foreign Investment, Educated Unemployment.
