Abstract
ABSTRACT Over the past decade, the creative economy sector in Indonesia has experienced growth. The creative industry is considered to play a significant role in economic well-being, with proponents suggesting that human creativity is a valuable economic resource. This research aims to analyze the development of labor, investment, and technology advances in the creative economy sector in Indonesia, as well as the influence of workforce, investment, and technological progress on the GDP of the creative economy sector in Indonesia. This research used panel data, representing pooled of time series data (year 20016-2020) and cross section data (16 subsectors of creative industry). The findings of this research present that: 1) the number of labor, investment, and technology advances tend to increase from 2016 to 2020; 2) the number of labor has a positive and significant impact on the GDP of the creative economy with a coefficient of 0.51; 3) investment has a positive and significant impact on the GDP of the creative economy with a coefficient of 0.07; and 4) technology advances has a positive and significant impact on the GDP of the creative economy with a coefficient of 0.28.
