Abstract
This study aims to determine the Influence of Leadership and Competence on Work Ethic and Its Impact on Employee Performance, then the first independent variable (X1) is Leadership. The second independent variable (X2) is Competence, the intervening variable (Y) in this study is Work Ethic and the dependent variable (Z) is Employee Performance. ). In this model, researchers assign descriptive questions to each independent variable, namely leadership and competence, dependent namely employee performance and intervening or moderation variables namely work ethic. The population in this study is employees of the legal department of companies in Industrial Estates in Bekasi Regency who resolve industrial relations disputes through Law Firms as many as 277 employees. This study uses a minimum size of 100 legal employees in companies in the Bekasi Regency Industrial Estate who have the task of resolving industrial relations disputes in their companies. This research uses the analysis tool Path analysis model. The results of this study are a significant positive influence on leadership and competence on work ethic with leadership and competence able to contribute to influencing work ethic by 70.5%. A significant positive influence on work ethic on employee performance with work ethic was able to contribute to influencing employee performance by 56.8%.
