Abstract

Tourism is one of the sectors that can support the economy in some areas. Tourism is a recreational activity or traveling. Tourism come from two words Pari and Wisata. To do recreation there must be a tourist attraction that is intended and has the potential as a tourist destination. Subang has many tourist attractions, such as nature tourism, historical tourism, cultural tourism and also educational tourism. For example, the museum is an educational tour that has historical value. Rumah Sejarah Kalijati Museum is one of them. Which is located in Kalijati, Subang Regency. Tourism potential is very important and must exist in a tourist attraction. There are 4 aspects that must be owned by a tourist attraction in developing its tourism potential, namely Attraction, Accessibility, Amenities, and Ancillary. In this research, the writer wants to find out and choose the title of study is "An Analysis of the Tourism Potential of Rumah Sejarah Kalijati as an educational tours". This study aims to find the tourism potential in Rumah Sejarah Kalijati based on 4 aspects. The method used in this research is Qualitative. Because the writer will explain the research using descriptive or by explaining with words. The procedure of data collection is observation, interview, and documentation. The writer conducted observation directly to Rumah Sejarah Kalijati as the object in this research. The interview is focused on manager of Rumah Sejarah Kalijati Museum, visitors, and the staff of Subang tourism government. After the data collected, the writer analyses the data and then found several findings. First, Rumah Sejarah Kalijati Museum is already develop about the 4A aspect to became tourist attraction. Secondly, Rumah Sejarah Kalijati has potential tourism because supported by the government to become tourist attraction. Third, Rumah Sejarah Kalijati has two obstacles in developing the potential tourism. Keywords: Museum, Potential Tourism, Aspect 4A of Tourism
