Abstract
Communication technology is undergoing rapid progress is the internet. Internetacts as a conduit of information, especially in the field of education. The Internetalso serves as a medium of communication. This study aims to determine the use of the Internet as a medium of communication in improving students' learning activities in the process oonlinelearning in the Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Dan Ilmu Politik UNPAS. Researchers used descriptive qualitative method. The collection ofdata through observation, interviews, documentation, and collection of literaturesources. The results showed the use of the Internet as a medium of communication inenhancing learning activities have been successful. Three internetapplicationscollaborated with three factors to improve learning activity only WWW and emailapplications that show positive results for high intensity use. But internetapplications News Group / E-learning as a medium of communication in improving the learning activity indicates poor results because of the lack ofdissemination of the e-learning system.Keywords: Use of the Internet as a Media Communication, Application Internet(World Wide Web, Email, News Group/E-learning), improving learning activities, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Dan Ilmu Politik UNPAS
