Abstract

This research paper is entitled “Analysis of K Lite FM Bandung’s Radio Efforts to Maintain the Listener Amount”. The objective of the research is to find out the efforts that K Lite FM do to maintain the listener amount. The writer uses a qualitative research method and applied the descriptive analysis. The main sources are from observation and interview that held at K Lite FM Bandung. In this research the writer conduct the data analysis technique by using interactive model of analysis from the Mile and Huberman. This analysis including three ways that connected each other. The data analysis techniques are data reduction, focusing the important things, look for themes and patterns. The second one is presentation of data to find a meaning from the data that has been obtained. And the last one is conclusion, drawing conclusions is the final part of this study. The three types of data are cyclical and interactive processes. In this study, conclusions is drawn to answer the formulation of the problem after being proven by the data obtained by the K Lite FM Bandung radio. The result of data analysis showed that K Lite FM Bandung did for technological developments by broadcasting on social media, announcer quality, script and audio content to be the efforts to maintain radio listener amount.
