Abstract

This study aims (1) to find out what the moral message is found in Nevertheless drama and (2) to find out how the moral message is presented in Nevertheless drama. The study subject is the Korean theatrical drama directed by Kim ga ram in 2021. The data-collection techniques of this study use viewing, reading, writing, and literature techniques as a research reference. The methods used to analyze data are qualitative methods and the describe-qualitative approaches as support methods. This study has shown that there are as many as nine pieces of data the writer collected. And from the nine data contains moral messages that are divided into two types, namely relationship between human beings and themselves is self-existence, parents are a mirror for children, and courage. Relationships between human beings and other are honesty, friendship, importance of commitment, manipulation, help each other, and gossip. Moral messages are conveyed in two ways. Firstly, moral messages conveyed directly are manipulation, bravery, friendship, help each other, honesty, and parents are mirror for children. Secondly, the moral messages conveyed indirectly, such as bravery, self-existence, the importance of commitment, and parents are a mirror for children.
