Abstract

The research entitles “An analysis of Slang Word in Fleischer’s ‘Zombieland’ Movie” It attempts to find out the Slang Words used in Zombieland Movie to find the meaning in every Slang words. This research, carried out style and meaning of Slang Words in this movie.The writer uses qualitative method to answer the research question, because the writer uses qualitative method in order to analyze the slang words contained in the movie.The data in this research is read the subtitle in this movie and collected by watching The Zombieland Movie, then finding out the subtitle of the conversation that contains language style, and Slang Words then classifying base on types of Slang that writer found on the Movie, then looks for what Slang Types is often used by Fleischer’s Zombieland Movie. There are 16 Slang words in this movie that are not found in other films.The subtitle in the ‘Zombieland’ by Fleischer’s found Slang Words, there are 16 data. With the kind type of society slang & public house slang. Therefore, the conclusion is The writer found that there are some slang words that are not found anywhere other than in this film. This shows the fact that slang words always develop according to the environment and the times. By learning these slang words, people will be able to communicate more smoothly with native speakers.
