Abstract
This study discusses the analysis of persuasive language in advertising promotion. The writer chose "An Analysis of Persuasive Language on Promotional Advertising Instagram at Yello Hotel Bandung" as the title of the research. This study aims to determine the persuasive language used by the Yello Hotel Bandung as room advertising promotion on Instagram. The problems contained in this ad post are not there are many persuasive sentences in Instagram post posters, even though they are very necessary because people will definitely look for discounts in buying a product or service and with advertisements on Instagram people will be influenced to be interested in visiting Yello Hotel Bandung. Writers chose persuasive language analysis because persuasion is a language/ suitable sentences are combined with advertisements whose purpose is to make people attractive and convince many customers to buy products/services at the hotel even though it is only an advertisement that will not necessarily attract many customers.The writer believes that persuasive language is very necessary for an advertisement.T The target of an advertisement applies persuasive language, which is intended to hypnotize the eyes of the readers so that they are interested. Persuasive language is the main capital in marketing a product and service because without a persuasive sentence, the advertisement is meaningless. In other words, if there is no persuasive language in the advertisement, the advertisement will not contain any meaning and most likely will not have any effect on a product being advertised. Qualitative method are used to describe the research. Writer found twenty screenshots of @yellopaskal Instagram post based on Bettinghaus theory, namely persuasive can influence a people thoughts and actions. An activity relationship between the speaker and the listener in which the speaker tries to influence the listener. On Instagram, @yellopaskal used discounts as a persuasive sentence to attract more customers. Keywords: Persuasive, Advertising, Hotel, Instagram.
