Abstract

English is a very important language in the world. English is an international language that is often used by countries with business events as well in tourism. Especially those who do business in tourist attractions. This study is titled The Usage English Problem Face by the Traders when Servicing the Foreign Tourist in Tangkuban Perahu Craters. This research was made for several purposes, there are to know the English language skills of the traders in Tangkuban Perahu Crater and to find out the level of English of traders in the Tangkuban Perahu Crater.This study has ten respondents. The writer used qualitative methods as a research method. To find out the results of this study, the writer conducted observations, interviews, and tests to respondents. The writer only analyzed English language skills and the level of English level of the traders serving foreign tourists who came to the Tangkuban crater. Data has been analyzed and explained that ten traders in the Tangkuban Perahu Crater have beginner English abilities and levels. That means their English is beginner and cannot be understood by foreign tourists. They realize that English is very important in terms of serving buying and selling to foreign tourists.
