Abstract
The purpose of this research is to explain the impact of social change due to the development of the Podomoro Land project. The impact of the Podomoro Land project is in the form of positive and negative impact. The positive impact of the Podomoro Land project development were modern infrastructure and community in addition to the increase of the land price in the Bojongsoang area. However, the negative impact of the Podomoro Land project were air pollution which affects health, noise disturbance, poor health service due to the absence of health insurance (clinics or community Health centre). The research method used was the analytical descriptive research specification, namely analyzing the relationship between positive law and legal theory and its implementation of positive law through a normative juridical approach. The obtained data was analyzed in a juridical qualitative manner using laws and regulations relating to primary and secondary data sourcing from legal literature. The outcome of the research indicated that the environmental impact of the development of Podomoro Land project on the community in Bojongsoang area, Bandung Regency was flood. The legal settlement of the impact of living environment was that PT Agung Podomoro Land Tbk (APLN) provided compensation to flood-affected community or the one who was near the Podomoro Land project location.
