Abstract

Universities as higher education institutions must be ready to face these global challenges. In order to be able to realize graduates who are able to compete in the global realm, universities must be able to become institutions with global insight and have international standard resources. For this reason, it is necessary to change the mindset of higher education into a mindset that follows change, which is oriented to the creation of a more dynamic, productive and competitive organizational culture. One of the things to realize this is the culture of a qualified university organization that is able to support and prepare the entire academic community to answer the challenges and fill this era of globalization. This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing organizational culture towards World Class University conducted at Pasundan University. This research uses a qualitative approach, the data collected is not in the form of numbers, but the data comes from interview scripts, field notes, personal documents, memo notes, and other official documents. So that the purpose of this qualitative research is to describe the empirical reality behind the phenomenon in depth, in detail and thoroughly. Therefore the use of a qualitative approach in this study is to match empirical reality with the prevailing theory by using descriptive methods. The research outcome shows that Pasundan University already has indicators of organizational characteristics such as performance, personality, teamwork orientation. It has been able to create a healthy work environment that supports high integrity, work ethics, dedication, loyalty, open communication and a high sense of ownership.
