Abstract

This •thesis proposed an management information system as the one of important detenninant to realized the effectivity of organization infon nulating development plan in Board of Plan Developm nt Bandung Municipality. The study describe that effectivity of organization about development plan in Bandung City adapted by vision and mission of Bandung City Strategic Plan on the year 2004-2008 still unreachable. The study proposed a theory of management information system, and theory of ejfectivity of organization. Research method described by explanatory of quantitative through a suroey grounded finding, technique of data analysis administered by validity and reliability. Whereas, to measure the affect of management information system to the effectivity of organization in development plan determined by line analysis technique. The •study pravides affect of variable dimension / sub variable of management information system itself, and the affected caused by va!'iant of sub variable. The study concluded that the management information system affected significantly and positive "ly to tlze effectivity of organization in Board of Plan Development Bandung Municipality.
